Standard Notation
Rhythm: Ukulele tab is often accompanied by a standard
notation. When one happens to lend an ear to a music piece, he
is bound to feel its pulse. Clapping with a song means clapping
with its beats. These beats are known as 'crotchets' or
'quarter notes'.

Tab Rhythm: Many a
times, standard notation is not shown with tab. Then, the
indication of rhythm takes place on tab itself. However, this
method is not all that standardized.
Measures/Bars: Every
tab has vertical lines which carry out the division of music
into various sections. These sections are called measures or
bars. Due to these divisions, the follow-up becomes easier. The
tabular form thus makes reading of Ukulele simpler for any Tom,
Dick, and Harry.
